I No one thing I always look forward to is change. At a different time in my life, I dreaded and had anxiety that things and situations in life are always changing and there’s not a dame thing I could do about it. Then if things change and it’s not an ideal position, there still nothing you can fucking do about it. There’s a thought of yeah that’s worth having anxiety about. Truth be told it’s not, it only makes things worse to worry about things out of our control.
The reason I like meditation is that ( I had set my own conflicting beliefs aside) and followed a guide meditation with an open mind I found myself in love with the feeling it gave me. A high feeling that I have never experienced before. Now I went through one full course and learned how to breathe and learned how to come back to concentrating on my breathing when my mind wondered. Then when the guide said now do a full body scan from your head to the bottom of your feet. Imagine you see your body going in an x-ray machine, all I want you to do is note the acknowledgment of the feeling of being uncomfortable or in pain or if you feel fine that’s great just note it and move on. Go back to the breath now what I want you to TRY to do is let the weight of your body go below you. When you feel the weight under your body you will be mind blown of the power you just used. You will be mind blown of how and why this is what it is. That is not even that half of meditation. I don’t know everything about it. All I know is my experience was something unbelievable.
